Gordon Advisors, P.C. is conducting a search for the following:



• 4 year college degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. Masters in Tax and CPA preferred.
• 3-7 years tax experience in public accounting.

• Corporation and Partnership tax experience required.

• Analytical and detailed with solid accounting and federal income tax skills.

• Ability to work independently, decisively and efficiently.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task under demanding conditions.
• Ability to supervise the work of others, providing direction, and overseeing their activities.
• Flexible team-player able to assist with work at multiple levels, as necessary, to meet formal deadlines and other requirements.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for hands-on review of key areas of Tax preparation including a variety of federal/state/International income tax accounting differences, including consolidated, unitary, combined, and separate company filings.
• Assist in analysis of business operations and tax implications to determine the appropriate allocation of state income tax liability, including tax credits.
• Monitor and incorporate impact of federal and state law changes in area of responsibility.
• Regularly and professionally communicate in verbal and written form with various levels of operating and accounting personnel, internal and external, to gather information, troubleshoot differences, resolve issues.
• Address all routine notices in verbal or written manner, as appropriate. Assist in responding to income tax audit inquiries, as needed.
• Research tax issues and assist in select tax planning projects.






• College degree or applicable certifications in IT.

• 2+ years of experience with supporting Windows based client server networks.

• General IT knowledge and experience with IT

• Minimum of 1 year experience working with Windows 7.

• Ability to maintain workstations, tablets, cellular devices and network environments.

• Capability of lifting 50 lbs (monitors, networking hardware, servers...etc.).

• Excellent documentation and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

• Solid understanding of Microsoft products and licensing.

• Basic understanding of TCP/IP and network infrastructure troubleshooting.

• Ability to operate around a flexible schedule.

• Windows Server including Active Directory knowledge is a plus.

• Programming/scripting knowledge is a plus.

• Microsoft certifications are a plus.

•Crystal reporting is a plus.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Document, track and monitor issues to ensure timely resolution.

• Accurately maintain and audit IT hardware and software inventory.

• Maintain, upgrade, or replace hardware and software systems.

• Identify, research, and resolve technical problems.

• Provide support to end users for various hardware and software issues.

• Respond to voice calls, emails and IT service requests in a timely manner.

• Support and maintain user account information, including rights, security and system groups.

• Be aware and informed of new technologies that may benefit Gordon.

• Basic understanding of TCP/IP and network infrastructure troubleshooting.

• Occasional travel.





• Minimum of 2 years experience working in an office environment.

• Microsoft Office experience a must.

• Ability to perform well while working in a fast paced environment.

• Ability to multi-task.

• Strong interpersonal, organizational and time-management skills.

• Knowledge of tax return forms a plus.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Providing a wide variety of clerical and support staff services.

• Assembling tax returns

• Format, edit and assemble financial statements.

• Format and edit confidential correspondence, memos, reports...etc.
